I work in IT and spend way too much time building random things on the internet.
Some projects solve real problems.
Some are experiments.
Some started because I asked a simple question:
"Why?"
This is where I share them.
I build things to answer my own questions.
It usually starts with curiosity.
I've always been the person who asks:
Most people focus on what and how.
I'm usually more interested in why.
That curiosity has followed me throughout my career and eventually became the reason I started building side projects.
That's where the name "ThatWhy" comes from.
I've spent most of my career working in IT — infrastructure, operations, automation, data, process improvement, and more projects than I can remember.
Outside of work, I enjoy building things.
I build things because I'm curious.
If they become useful to other people, that's a bonus.
A community platform built around good deeds.
The idea came from a simple observation. LinkedIn lets people endorse skills. Facebook lets people like posts. But where do people go to share acts of kindness?
Do9ood is my attempt to answer that question.
Visit Do9oodThe goal is to show progress, not perfection.
Things I keep coming back to.
I don't build things because I have a startup plan.
Most of the time I build because I'm curious.
Sometimes I'm trying to solve a problem.
Sometimes I want to learn a new technology.
Sometimes I just can't stop thinking about an idea.
Building things is how I learn.
And occasionally, something useful comes out of it.
Whether you want to talk about a project, share an idea,
or just say hello — I'm always happy to hear from you.
